When I first heard Lorenzo Torez’s first album Angry Birds I was stuck with something which has not happened for a while and the feeling was I the hell I have not heard of this guy before and then I had this feeling that I did hear him before and he sounded quite a bit like one of the biggest recording artist in the planet right now. But that is far from the truth. Once he comes out on his own he owns it and be his own voice and music. 

And I am sure when you would have listened to his song you would have felt the same thing if you know your music. But that does not mean Lorenzo Torez is not his own musician because he is very much himself in this song. Only a person who has had some tough time of the hearts can write soulful melodies like this.

When you see him there is bit of quirkiness about him and his music is not that far either. It’s a combination of urban pop & R&B which anyone can tell you is no easy task to mix because they have got their own flow and rhythm.
